I’m doing a show. When should I schedule?
You should book now to hold your spot and take advantage of early bird discounts. Your session should be anytime between the Thursday before your show to the day after your show (If you don’t eat like a jackhole the night of your show. If you can hold off I will have cookies for you).
What should I expect?
We’ll talk schedule and outfits before your appointment. The day/morning of your shoot please wear loose fitting clothes so we don’t have to worry about compression marks from your clothing. If you are late it eats into your shooting time. e.g. if you have a 2 hour session and you show up 30 mins late you have 1.5 hrs left in your session. If you choose a styling option e.g. foil, bodypaint, gems please be mindful that styling takes time up to 30-45 mins.
Will you phototshop my images?
I typically do light photoshopping to enhance musculature (not add it), remove blemishes and smooth out rough edges. I can do more or less based on your preferences. I get it. I you lost 100 lbs and your stretch marks are a badge of honor or rite of passage you’ve earned and use as a reminder or badge….hell yeah. I’m all for leaving it! If you’re more comfortable with not showing it or wanting it removed, I gotchu.
What’s your preferred style?
Art, art, and art. As I said on my info page, you’ve worked hard to get your body it the best shape possible. You’ve become art. Carbs and eventually age will soon eclipse what you’ve built. Let’s capture it now and make it worthy to grace your walls and serve as a reference to your achievement.
But, do I have to be naked?
Have to? No. Preferred? Yes. I want to show your body as a work of art. Can you reference a Roman sculpture wearing a g-string or boxer briefs? I will pose your strategically and you can keep your bits out of my lens. I know it can be difficult and nerve-wracking to be naked in front of a stranger but you will never regret making a seamless work of art.
